Berea held the city’s strategic planning public forum Thursday night so that the public could provide comments and input on the plan. The crowd was broken into to groups that each came up with different strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the city. Some of the suggestions for improvements to the city were expanding the industrial park, getting more options for groceries in the city, adding more walking paths and many more. The groups were given maps and other materials so that they could demonstrate how some of the ideas could be accomplished. The city’s government will be examining the feedback left during the meeting as plans for 2019 are made.
