KSP interrupts “nap time” for woman on alleged drug charges


KSP reports responding to a call at the BP in Waco regarding 2 females passed out in a vehicle. Police report trying to wake up the passenger, 39 year old Samantha Jane Francisco and the other women in the car. According to KSP the subjects were not easily woken, and when they did wake officers state they observed Fransisco’s eyes being blood shot and glassy. Officers say they conducted a field sobriety test, where they report Francisco showed all 6 clues of intoxication. Reportedly Fransisco was asked by officers if she had taken anything and she said she had, meth, xanax, gabapentin, and marijuana.

The operator of the vehicle gave consent to a search of the vehicle according to KSP. Fransisco’s purse was searched and according to KSP 2 smaller bags with a crystal substance suspected to be meth, along with 2 Gabapentin pills, a small amount of Marijuana and a couple of glass pipes were found in her possession. Fransisco took full responsibility for the drugs and was lodged into the MCDC on 3-2-19
