Persistent drunk driver arrested in Laurel County.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s office has reported on an alleged persistent drunk driver that was taken into custody recently. Deputies report being dispatched to a complaint of an individual observed at a residence (that wasn’t his own), while being covered in blood and scratches, who matched the description of an individual that apparently ran from the scene of a traffic crash five hours earlier.

Deputies conducted an investigation to ultimately determine that the individual , William D. Mosley, was under the influence.

In addition, Mosley was reportedly wanted on outstanding warrants of failure to appear in the Laurel District Court on charges of two counts of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police as well as numerous wanton endangerment charges.
