A Rockcastle man convicted of sexually abusing two young kids has agreed to a sentence of 10 years.
Officials say that 40 year old Robert Napier was indicted Feb.9, 2018, by a grand jury for sexually abusing two young relatives under 16 years old. The incidents happened between 2015-16.
Napier denied ever touching the children but a jury found Napier guilty on all five counts of sexual abuse that he was facing.
Napier waived a jury sentencing and agreed to the 10 years in prison. He also waived his right to appeal the sentence. Upon release, he would face years of conditional discharge upon and will be registered as a sex offender for life.
Napier is currently being held in the Rockcastle County Detention Center.
