The Madison County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a 911 hang-up call at Owsley Fork Road in Richmond.

Upon arrival, officers found Jimmy Ingram shirtless, and had blood covering him.

Jimmy stated that he had been stabbed with a knife by his 49 year old brother, Stevie Ingram. Jimmy also stated that both of them had been drinking throughout the evening and later on got into an argument with his brother in the living room.

Stevie allegedly got up and began intentionally punching Jimmy with his fists. A citation stated that Jimmy leaned over in the chair he was sitting on to protect himself when he was stabbed in the back with an unknown sharp object. Jimmy was reported having a serious physical injury due to the stab.

Stevie was placed under arrest, but not before having a physical combat with the officers and making verbal threats in the cruiser stating “I’ll stab you like I did my brother.”

Stevie was taken to the Madison County Detention Center and charged with these:

  • 1st degree assault
  • Resisting arrest
  • 3rd degree terroristic threatening
