A recent traffic stop in Madison County led to the arrest of a man with suspected “gray death” in his vehicle, a deadly mixture of fentanyl and heroin. The car with 39 year old Sinclair Johnson driving was pulled over on US 25 South, and Johnson allegedly denied a search of his vehicle to Troopers.
A K-9 unit was deployed, and the dog reportedly alerted on the vehicle according to the citation. When Johnson’s car was then searched, over 11 grams of the deadly opiate mixture was allegedly found, as well as cash and Xanax pills.
