Major Laurel County Drug Bust Nets 2 Pounds of Methamphetamine, 3 Arrests

A major drug bust in laurel county has resulted in the arrest of three people who were allegedly in the vicinity of over two pounds of methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Department reports that they received a tip from the London office of the DEA that a large amount of the substance was moving into Laurel County.

The Cadillac Escalade was pulled over on Highway 770 with James Coulter of Louisville driving, as well as Stephanie Richard and Robert Thornsberry. All three were charged with possession with intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine and were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
