Richmond Man Charged with Theft of Mail Matter, Fradulent Use of Credit Cards

Continuing with the news of package thefts, one Richmond man was taken into custody after police say he was found with mail matter that did not belong to him, and also used credit cards that were not his. The warrant states that 27 year old Fredrick Williams had been found last November in a vehicle with a package that he allegedly said he had permission to pick up.

However, when Richmond Police interviewed the owner of residence that it was addressed to, they replied that this was not the case. The victim allegedly added that Williams asked them to lie to police on his behalf. In another warrant, Williams allegedly purchased over $200.00 worth of merchandise using credit cards that did not belong to him. He was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and theft of mail matter.
