Equipment Violation Stop Leads to Methamphetamine Arrest


An equipment violation stop in Berea led to a methamphetamine arrest, although it took multiple searches and the aid of a K9 unit to locate the substance. According to Berea police, 28 year old Darrin Pulliam of Richmond had been pulled over on Highway 956, and it was found that he had an active arrest warrant. The K9 alerted on his vehicle, however after searching the car more than once nothing was located.

However, after his arrest 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located in the cruiser where Pulliam had been sitting. He was lodged in the detention center.
