Homeless Man Facing Drug and Theft Charges after Found Hiding on Gibson Lane

A homeless Richmond man was taken into custody after he had been located hiding between air conditioners and observed knocking on doors on Gibson Lane. Police made contact with the man, 39-year-old Dwight Rose, and found that he had multiple warrants, including tampering with a prisoner monitoring device and second degree escape.

A black case in the area where Rose had been hiding was searched, and counterfeit bills, peso notes, a check book and IDS that did not belong to him, and drug paraphernalia were allegedly located. Rose was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and possession of paraphernalia and booked into the detention center.
