Richmond City Commission Holds Final Meeting of 2018, Outgoing Commissioners Say Their Goodbyes

With the final meeting of 2018 finished, commissioners Jim Newby and Morgan Eaves have completed their terms as commissioners.  Commissioner Jason Morgan and soon to be mayor Robert Blythe gave both of them their best wishes and thanked them for their time on the commission.  Both Newby and Eaves said that the city is in good hands and think the next commission will do good things for the city.  As for their future plans, they both say they will remain in Richmond and would be more than happy to help the new commission if needed.  Jim Newby was also dressed as the British Bulldog, his old wrestling persona.  He said he was wearing the costume because it was a common request and with it being his last meeting as a commissioner, he had to “fulfill his obligation”.
