Car Versus House on Medley Drive, Driver Now Arrested for Aggravated DUI


**UPDATE: Richmond Police Department reports that the driver was arrested around 11am this morning after he was released from the hospital. The man, 25 year old Dustin Blake Tackett was charged with 2nd Degree Wanton Endangerment and Aggravated DUI. According to the arrest information, his BAC came in at .171.

Last night on Medley Drive in Richmond, a car apparently lost control and hit a home in the Argyle Subdivision. The victim was reportedly entrapped in the vehicle.

According to the report from the Richmond Fire Department, the victim was unresponsive when crews arrived on scene and was indeed trapped in the wrecked car. Medical care was given, and the victim was then transported to receive additional medical care.

Meanwhile, RFD ensured as there was brick falloff to the garage and portions of the house, that the structure was safe for the occupants inside. Once it was determined that it was only slight damage, the occupants of the residence were safe to reside for the night.

The structure stabilization was referred to the Codes Department as well to make sure that all was safe. The current medical state of the victim and identity is not known at this time.
