Give a Gift to a Veteran in Need This Holiday Season!

For the fourth year in a row, the Office of Military and Veteran’s Affairs on EKU’s campus has put out angel trees to allow for anyone in the giving spirit to give a gift for a veteran.

Dr. Bryan Cole of the organization came to WBON tv studios and explained that this is growing with each year, with last year seeing to it that 155 veterans that might otherwise not receive a single gift get a present to unwrap.

This year, Cole says that they one-upped the amount of recipients to 157 ,and they hope to see to it that each one gets an EKU-themed gift.

You can find the trees at three locations: Campus Warehouse in the Richmond Center, the Whitlock Building in the heart of EKU’s Campus, and the Burnham House on Lancaster, which is the Office of Veteran Affairs HQ.

The giving runs through December 19th.
