Berea recently underwent its annual audit and it was reported that the city had a growth in city funding since the previous fiscal year with growth of over two million dollars. The audit was completed to the government standard, went as planned and found nothing out of the ordinary for the city. The Audit and Finance Committee chairman, councilor Steve Caudill congratulated his committee on their work and the growth in funding.
The city will also be annexing a small plot of land located at 180 Ginger Dr. The annex was made at the request of the owner.
This weekend will be Berea’s annual geo caching event. Geo caching is a high tech scavenger hunt where your phone’s gps is used to locate small hidden containers throughout Berea and the surrounding area.
