EKU Officials Explain Everything You Need to Know For Trump’s Visit

If you’re planning to attend the presidential rally scheduled for Saturday, EKU has released some rules. Attendees can begin waiting to enter the event at 8 a.m. Saturday. Doors will open at 4 p.m,for the 7 p.m event.. the secret service is banning a multitude of items that could cause any sort of injury..and the University is banning paint, confetti, glitter, flag poles and e-cigarettes.. a ticket does not guarantee you entry to the event as they are already going to be over capacity at press time.

As long wait times are expected, the university said that coolers, umbrellas, and lawn chairs will be allowed outside the event, but that they will not be permitted inside. A map of the event parking is available on Wbontv socials, and some of the lots that are allowing parking include: Lancaster, Brockton, Dizney, Ashland, carter, and the Center for the Arts among others. As the officials report, the Alumni Coliseum lot will be blocked off for media and standing room.

Watch the video to get all the details for tomorrow. Remember, if you see anything suspicious, call EKU police at 859-622-1111 so that they can ensure everyone stays safe this weekend.
