Kentucky Changers Changing Homes for the Better Across Madison County

Today and the rest of this week in Richmond and across Madison County, you may notice groups of what are volunteers from across the state working on homes.

For instance, WBONtv went out to the site on Cottonwood Drive to witness one of the 16 crews of Kentucky Changers, who were hard at work stripping shingles off a home–at no charge to the homeowner. They do more than roof work, and can be found working on siding, decks, and painting at other locations such as Tates Creek in Richmond as well as Peachtree and Paintlick Rd. in Berea.

The groups of teens told us they were from all over the state and traveled out here to spend part of their summer giving back through their youth group and the program.

Watch the interviews with the impressive young adults!
