MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A semi driver is recovering Wednesday morning after being pulled from his burning truck.
It happened just before midnight Tuesday on I-75 near the 90 mile marker.
Officials say one semi somehow rear-ended another, causing the truck to catch fire.
We’re told witnesses stopped to pull the driver from the burning cab.
The road was completely blocked for over an hour, but one lane has since opened back up.
The interstate is expected to be completely open by 6 a.m., after fluids and debris are cleaned up.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
