Charged With Trafficking And Carrying A Concealed Deadly Weapon

On May 19th,2018 approx 8:00 pm deputies received an anonymous tip that the above subject was in the area of Berry Hollow rd in Lincoln County. Deputies had prior knowledge of the above subject who was identified as Raul Antonio Garza, aka Mario 32 of Crab Orchard. Deputies have had several complaints in reference to illegal narcotics activity involving this individual. The above s vehicle was located on ky 698, constable Eddie Brown , Deputy Michael Mullins and KSP trooper Toney Dollins Initiated a traffic stop for traffic violations. Upon stop, Garza gave a fake ID and fake SS card to officers. Deputies were able to identify the above as Garza. Garza stated that he had a handgun in the back floor board. The gun was found to be concealed under the back floor board. Deputy Mullins deployed K9 Luma who alerted to the vehicle. A search of the vehicle found two vacuumed sealed baggies containing a large amount of US currency. The baggies were concealed inside of the console. A search incident to arrest found that Garza had two wallets containing a large amount US currency. Garza also had a baggy contains 7 oxycodone pills inside his shoe in which he did not have a prescription. Garza also did not have a valid drivers license.

A Chevrolet car, handgun, drugs and $12,285.00 in cash were seized.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at a residence on Berry Hollow road suspected marijuana, baggies and paraphernalia were seized as a result of the search warrant.

Garza arrested by Deputy Michael Mullins and was lodged in the Lincoln County Regional jail.

Assisting were deputies Rob Oney, Nick Adams, Sheriff Curt Folger, Gary Brummett, Sgt Bill Hester, KSP Trooper Toney Dollins and Constable Eddie Brown.
