A third suspect related to an incident that led to the lockdown of Silvercreek elementary in Berea Tuesday was taken into custody, and now released from the detention center. Madison county deputies had pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation, which led to a chase and then an hours long search for one of the two suspects. The man who was harboring the second suspect, Nathan Hisle, was identified as Johnathon Carpenter of Berea. Carpenter had told deputies that Hisle was not at his home, but upon receiving a tip to check underneath the house Hisle was discovered and Carpenter admitted that he has been hiding there from police. He was charged with second degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.
