White Hall Historic Site to Feature First Hemp Crop Since Early 1800s

White Hall Historic Site made an announcement today that they will be breaking ground on the first hemp plot this Saturday, April 21st. This will mark the first time the crop was grown on the historic property of the Clay Family since the early 19th century. The plot will be planted in mid-may, and visitors will be invited to come see the progress of the crop throughout the summer.
