First Baptist Church Holds Creative Kids Ministry

By: Lance Gaither

On March 11th the First Baptist Church on Francis Street in Richmond held a creative kids ministry.  The program is part of a faith task force that has members from churches in Richmond and Berea.

Youths from these churches performed a series of performances.  The purpose of these performances was so that the teenagers could demonstrate what good God is allowing them to do in their lives.

Some youths performed short skits while other had choreographed dance numbers. After the skits was an interactive section where the teens formed groups and played human bingo.  Each group was given a card with twenty-five different sections.  On these sections were trivia and short challenges that they had have adults in the room answer or perform.

The task force meets on the fourth Monday of every month at the First Baptist Church, and is open to everyone.
