Congressman Barr Talks Shutdown, Tax Reform, Potential Re-election

Today, Congressman Andy Barr was back in Kentucky after spending the weekend in Washington during the 36-hour government shutdown.

He came into WBON-TV’s studios to fill us in on the agreements that were made, and concessions that will still need to occur with the immigration policies on the table in Congress.

Barr also spoke about his running for re-election, those on the other side of the aisle that he works with on a daily basis, and tax reform.

The congressman representing our 6th district also noted that this week, there will be some developments that are especially crucial in his opinion to this area that will hope to find the seemingly unending drug epidemic.
