Inside Look at Berea’s MLK Celebration


This Monday, Martin Luther King Day will be celebrated in Berea with a march and speakers, as well as a lunch and other events. WBON-TV went down to Berea College’s campus to speak to those in charge of the event, as well as some of the students involved to get an inside look at how the day was made possible, as well as get insight into the schedule of events.

The day begins at 930 at union church, with the march beginning at ten am. Speakers will continue into the evening, with the keynote speakers and reception at 4:30. Stay tuned with to get coverage of both Berea and Richmond’s marches.
