Statement from the Downtown Richmond Association Regarding Recent Changes

In light of recent changes taking place downtown, different groups are looking to better main street in Richmond. WBON-TV recently did a story getting the perspective of one of these groups, and has been sent a statement from the other. The Downtown Richmond Association, says this:

“On behalf of the Downtown Richmond Association, we would like to thank Main Street Coordinator, Rose Rex, for five admirable years of service. The Downtown Richmond Association is a 501c3 volunteer organization, founded under the Main Street Coordinator, with founding members committed to the betterment of Downtown Richmond. We believe in the beauty of strong community partnerships, including Richmond Kentucky Tourism, Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Richmond Parks & Recreation, and the Downtown Richmond Merchants Guild (RKY). As of January 1, 2018, the organization will be moving forward as The Downtown Richmond Farmers Market.”
