Berea Fire Department Christmas Toy Drive In Full Swing

The Berea Fire Department has been gearing up for their toy drive program all year now, in order to benefit under privileged children and families at local Berea schools.

WBON-TV spoke with firefighter Robbie Johnson about the details regarding the toy drive, who explained that donations can be dropped off until December 12th at Fire Station 2 on Glades Road in Berea.

Johnson explains that this is the department’s biggest fundraiser of the year, which helps get gifts to hundreds of local children.

Anyone interested can make donations or drop off wrapped toys as names are still in the process of being drawn by the firefighters before they hand out the gifts next month at the Folk Center in Berea.
