Local Filmmaker and Professor Releases New Documentary

This weekend, be on the lookout for a new documentary about the religiously unaffiliated at the Kentucky Theater in Lexington. WBON TV’s Marisa Hempel sat down and talked with EKU professor and Filmmaker/Director Dr. Nathan Jacobs to learn more about the project.

Jacobs not only has this weekend’s release of ‘Becoming Truly Human’ coming out, but also is excited to announce the digital release of a dark comedy entitled ‘Killing Poe’. He explained his own journey with finding religious affiliation, and the themes that he hopes are conveyed through his films that relate to his work in academia. We also got some information on his upcoming project as well, and the work he is about to embark on.
