Residents Voice Concerns Over New Potential Park

A town hall meeting was recently held at Richmond City Hall to discuss a potential new park that will be taking the place of a water tower site on North Street. Residents expressed concerns over drainage issues and drug problems at the site, which is in the middle of a residential area near Main Street.

WBON-TV spoke to Director of Parks and Recreation for the City Erin Moore about the concerns that citizens voiced, as well as the timeline for the new park which would first have to be approved through the city commission.

The design for the new park includes a play set, walking trails, and a area for dogs.
