Galilean Home Ministries to Hold Annual Quilt Auction in Casey County

If you are looking to support a great cause and ministry, then the second weekend of October might be a perfect time to make the drive to beautiful Liberty, Kentucky for Galilean Home Ministries annual quilt auction. The beautiful quilts are donated from all across the state, and are auctioned off to benefit the ministries; which include a girls’ home, born-free prison ministry for babies, and a Christian Academy. The large site is totally faith-funded, and therefore relies on this event to get the funds they need to keep the homes and school running.

Development Director for the ministries Quincy Burt showed WBON-TV around the impressive campus, and explained the ins and outs of the two-day event which will take place October 13th and 14th. The 28th annual quilt and craft auction also features a completely volunteer-driven dinner on Friday and breakfast before the large auction on Saturday.

Watch the video to see the campus, which is nestled in the hills of Liberty Kentucky. Burt says tours of the 20 plus acre site will also be given during the weekend.
